I had a similar experience of surprise with Isaac D. I only formally "taught" him through the letter "Hh" and was shocked one weekend when he started reading a bible story book to Renier. Now, he's a remarkable reader. Keep up the good work Belk and give Zach a congratulatory hug and kiss from Tia Stacy. Love you all !!Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07005877813687050885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2229766406881382571.post-81708396870713719972011-04-07T01:16:52.389-05:002011-04-07T01:16:52.389-05:00What a perfect example of the saying, "provid...What a perfect example of the saying, "provide a learning environment and you will be amazed how much your children learn and absorb." Well that is paraphrased, but you get the idea. I get teary-eyed sometimes too thinking of how fast my kids are growing and learning. Time is flying by so fast, it seems like just yesterday I was bringing them home from the hospital. With the business of life, I tend to get distracted sometimes, but this is a great reminder that I need to enjoy every minute I can with them.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16229157237465786945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2229766406881382571.post-17205065985305919142011-04-06T06:55:50.306-05:002011-04-06T06:55:50.306-05:00Wow! I hope they enjoy every minute! :0) Oh and Zachary is too cute identifying his letters and getting flustered while doing so haha! I can hardly believe that he learned them through mere exposure without any kind of formal and direct training. That is truly impressive. Way to go ZACH!Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10492295020320724632noreply@blogger.com
